History of EFGolf
EFGolf/OB Sports created a sole purpose LLC which held the management contract at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club in Fountain Hills, AZ. The initial management contract term was for a three years and two successive renewals totaled twelve years for this management contract. EFGolf is responsible for all construction supervision, turf and landscape grow-in and maturity, start-up and daily operations of 36 hole upscale daily fee resort facility. We-Ko-Pa presently has 90+ employees, has achieved 70,000 paid rounds annually with annual revenues exceeding $8.3 million. OB Sports held the management contract for the first three years of The Gallery Golf Club and EFGolf was responsible for the initial permitting, construction supervision, grow-in and maturity of turf grass and the opening of this 36 hole private non-equity club in 1999. EFGolf assumed all golf operational management supervision after the departure of OB Sports in 2001 and acted as an owner’s representative for the next seven years. In 2002 and 2003, EFG coordinated and supervised the in-house construction of the second eighteen hole South Course. EFG made weekly site visits during the ten years to oversee the daily golf and membership operations of this 650 acre second home residential community that consists of 470+ members from twenty-four states. The Gallery Golf Club had 120 employees with the opening of the Sports Club/Fitness Center in 2005. EFG reported directly to owner, John MacMillan and his financial team. EFGolf/OB Sports partner in management contract of Seville Golf and Country Club in Gilbert, AZ. EFGolf assumed the golf course construction supervision; the grow-in and maturity of the turf grassing as well as the course landscaping (110 acres) and the start-up of this private non-equity club that is the centerpiece of 1300 acre master planned community. EFGolf/OB had 50+ employees and reported to Mr. Buddy Satterfield, President of Shea Homes Arizona, and the master community developer.
History with OB Sports
OB Sports grew from three properties to a total of fourteen facilities during this period. They included six upscale daily fee properties owned by the OB investment group as well as an additional eight properties OB managed for third party owners which included daily fee, resort and private clubs. All fourteen clubs were located in the western states of Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada and Arizona with an OB home office in Seattle and a southern office located in Las Vegas. The properties were divided geographically operationally with the CEO of OB assigned the five northern facilities and EF assuming responsibility of the nine remaining properties in the southern region. OB Sports had an employee base of 900+ and total annual revenues exceeding $70 million with the nine southern facilities contributing $47 million of the annual sales. EF was promoted to this position by OB Sports and assumed responsibility for all daily operations of 18 hole upscale daily fee facility. The Legacy had 70+ employees and total annual revenues in excess of $5 million while achieving 52,000 rounds in 1993. Also consulted weekly on all Angel Park operational issues and reported to CEO of OB Sports.
EF was responsible for golf shop/guest services operations of 45 hole upscale daily fee facility. The golf department had 25+ employees, 115,000 rounds and annual golf revenues over $7 million in 1991. Employed by OB Sports Golf Management and reported to owner/CEO.

EFGolf has been fortunate to work on a number of high-profile projects with some of the best golf developers in the world. Three of these projects, all located in Marana, Arizona, caught the attention of the international golf community. In 2007 & 2008 The Gallery Golf Club was host to the Accenture World Match Play Championship, and from 2009-2014 the event was held at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain.
